Each year, too many lives are lost to lung disease and this is your chance to run or walk, raise money and make an impact in their honor. By joining the Fight for Air Corporate Cup, you are making the commitment to fight lung disease so everyone can breathe easier- including you! Create a team of co-workers or compete by yourself. Novice and expert athletes of all ages are welcome to participate!
~ Participants may choose to WALK or RUN a 2-mile course or a 10K USATF certified course.
~ All participants (10K and 2 mile) will be professionally timed and ranked by timing chips.
~ Participants can compete with a corporate team or as an individual.
~ The course will start in front of Blue Cross Blue Shield on Aksarben Drive and will finish at the intersection of Mercy Drive and 67th Street.
~ Registration opens at 6:30am. The 10K and 2 mile race will start at 8:00 AM. The kid’s 100 yard dash starts at approx. 9:30 AM.
~ MP3 players and strollers are allowed on the course, but remember to be courteous to the other participants.
~ No pets are allowed on the course.

Important Race Information
Select Seeded Pass Area
The “select seeded pass” qualifiers will line up ahead of the “seeded pass” qualifiers. Times required for “select seeded” passes are:
Males = 40 to 50 minutes in 10-K
Females = 47 to 55 minutes in 10-K
Seeded Pass Area
The “seeded” pass qualifiers will line up behind the “select seeded” pass qualifiers. The qualifications for a “seeded” pass are as follows:
Males = 50 to 60 minutes in 10-K Females = 55 to 65 minutes in 10-K
All other participants will line up behind the Seeded Pass Area.
Kid’s 100 Yard Dash
The kid’s 100 yard dash will begin following the 10K and 2 mile races. It is open to all kids aged 5-10 years old. (There is a $5 fee for this race for all children who do not have a race bib from the longer courses.)
Awards and Prizes
All team/corporate awards will be handed out at the Awards Celebration on October 2 at the Scott Conference Center.
